Who is Go International?
Go International is a mission’s organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma committed to reaching the nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the use of cutting edge technology and innovative ministry tools we seek to share the Gospel in a way that is easily understood and culturally relevant.
What is the purpose of Orphan for a Night?
The purpose of Orphan for a Night is three-fold:
1.) To create awareness of the plight of orphans
2.) Raise funds
3.) Empower individuals to affect change globally.
What will be happening at the event?
Individuals from across Tulsa and the states, will gather together in parking lots and sleep in cardboard boxes in order to experience the life of an orphan for one night.
Who can come to the event?
Individuals of all ages are invited to the event. However, those who are 18 and under are required to either come with their parent(s) to the event, or to join one of the local youth groups that are coming to the event.
Does it cost to attend the event?
It is required that participants of the event raise $100 to help support orphans. It is suggested to ask 10 people to sponsor participants for $10 each. Click here to download our sponsorship sheet.
Where do the funds collected from Orphan for a Night go?
Funds raised for the Orphan for a Night campaign go towards:
+ Orphanage Projects
+ International Adoptions
+ Education
We recommend that you bring a cardboard box to sleep on, a blanket, water, and some snacks to munch on.
What if it rains?
Despite weather conditions, Orphan for a Night will still be happening at Mardel’s Parking Lot on 71st and Mingo. If you have any concerns about rain possibilities we suggest you bring a rain poncho and/or umbrella.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Go International is a 501(c)3 which allows donors to make contributions and receive tax deductions. Checks or money orders must made payable to Go International not to the individual participant.
How can I support Orphan for a Night if I can not attend?
If you cannot attend the event, you can still contribute to Orphan for a Night by CLICKING HERE OR donate by check.

Go International is aware that not all global orphans are subject to living on the streets; however, many orphans in various areas around the world have no other option but the streets. Orphan for a Night, was created as an effort to raises funds and awareness, while bringing attention to the reality of those orphans that are without a home.
